[Jrpgir] for art is imperishable

So… Greetings on my blog, dear reader! Today we will talk about the most aesthetically pleasant toy from the games of this backing – “IB”. The only game of the developer known under the pseudonym Kouri, published in 2012 on the RPG Maker 2000 engine.
The game tells us about the little girl IB, who comes with his parents to the gallery for the exhibition of Weiss Guuertena – a fictional artist of this world. Inspecting the exhibits, IB finds a picture with a very strange signature: “”. world”.

At first the question arises – this is the real name of the picture or not? It turned out that IB could not read the entire text on the tablets near the exhibits while we were considering the rest of Guuertenes. This is shown in the form of several interrogative signs in the place of the word about the meaning of which she knows nothing. But all the doubts about the name disappear when, having passed the literally a couple of steps in the gallery, the light begins to flash, and after that, having passed a few more rooms, IB notes that the gallery is empty, there are no parents, and in general all the people disappeared somewhere and she was left completely alone in this gloomy world of Weiss.

This game about art from the inside, in the literal sense of the word, because most of the game time we explore the imaginary world, the world on the other side of the picture frame, the world of internal experiences, ideas and fantasies of the artist.

Sudden monsters and the oppressive type Rainbow-spins.uk of location can make your heart go faster, but all this will not last so long: we will have a companion – a poorly dressed young man named Harry, with whom it is not so scary. Harry will serve us as a navigator / “torch” (emphasize the necessary) in a mysterious and excessive atmosphere into which the author plunges us.

Around the middle of the game, IB meets the third key character – Mary. Presumably, they are from the IB of the same age, but Mary is an absolute antipode of our protagonist. She does not like Harry, but with Ib she is trying to establish nursing relations, this is expressed by great sympathy from Mary.

Stunning soundtracks, Kouri drawing, to which you get used to in seconds, various puzzles, well -registered non -standard characters, the plot non -linearity and horror elements do not allow to get bored for several hours.
I personally could not get all the endings, but their total number ranges from 7 to 10 (on the sites and in the guides, they write in different ways to receive these very endings).

Also in version 1.04 a new location was added, which will be available only on the second passage when fulfilling special conditions, which opens another ending and location “True Huertena Exhibition”, where all the paintings and sculptures that Ib met during its adventure are presented.

Also, the hands of fans created a cut from images, sounds and music telling the plot of the game “IB” in three parts. You can get acquainted with it on YouTube.

In conclusion, I can say that this is one of my favorite games of those made on the RPG Maker engine. I strongly advise you to play it for lovers of good old classics!

If you want, of course.
Yes, I do this regularly, thanks 🙂
But I didn’t understand about screenshots. I tried thematically correctly tie them to the text, and you are talking about one style. 🙁
I didn’t understand about the comment either, I would be grateful if they explained.

Motivation is praised, I also love this game.
The implementation of the blog is weak, in fact this is one more detailed comment that could be found under the spoiler in the topic (invented):
“And what games do you like”.
I didn’t write the blogs particularly, but I saw a lot of decent ones, the topics of which were not particularly interested in, but the presentation and design were bribed and I gave them a chance.
Look at the work with a high rating, read the guide on blogs, add more information unique for the game, withstand screenshots and art in the same style (-yah) and t.D.
If you want, of course.
