History Saints Row, part two

ThQ and Volution, companies standing behind the Saints Row series, lived calmly after the release of the second part, additions to it and the mobile version. The sketches of the tricel were already preparing that it would open a new dilogy and move to another graphic engine, and the continuation of the 2001 Red Faction, Guirella was developed. However, they were not going to let go of the series, so besides “flagships or headlines”, if I may say so, spin-offs for games were made. It is about them that we will talk in the second part of the history of the series.

I will immediately start with a small but rare information – Saints Row on Wii. As it turns out, except for the Xbox360 and the conceived PS3, the first part was supposed to reach the Nintendo console. The gameplay would not differ from the original, but the graphics would be giving. Unfortunately, this is all information.
Taken from the site www.Unseen64.NET/2008/12/04/Saints-ROW-Wii-CANCELLLED/.

Facebook at the height nongamstopsites.uk/ of the end of the zero became part of the culture, and the games on the site were “haypal”, like typical zombies already in our networks. ThQ, in order not to spoil plans, gives Saints Row in the browser of PUNCH Entertaiment, which has eaten the dog on casual online games. By the way, the publisher and the developer have already cooperated, creating Hunting Unlimited.
The game, as you can understand, is a “strategy”. She will take the events that occurred after Saints Row 2 and her additions. The boss disappeared, and the enemies are being revived: the fraternity was headed by former Lieutenant Tork, the sister of Calipso led the children of Samedy, and the dude became the new leader of Roninov. All these unknown people again repelled the city from the saints, but in order to prevent this, the cousin/cousin of our former hero decides to lead the gang. Winston helps him in this – a faithful man who plays the role of a mentor.

The player should buy a weapon, collect a gang and capture fortresses, as in the original game, and pump them. If it is destroyed, then it takes time to restore, otherwise the player will not be able to do anything with the area. It was also possible to create a group from friends Facebook.* The ultimate goal does not differ from other games – repulse all areas of enemies and become the owner of the city.
At the end of July 2011, she was disabled. In principle, it is interesting on the one hand, but in terms of the fact that it will be reached by the canons of the past part (the Ultor in the game is not mentioned at all despite the cooperation with the griffin, the loss of the main character is not revealed in any way, the “three kings” seem to have not been), and in general there was not enough information on it, a not very positive impression is formed.

Drive-by-perhaps the most mysterious and unknown game in the series. As you can understand from the name, all its essence and gameplay should have been built on Drive-Bay-shelling of enemies from the car. She has been nailed since the time of E3 2010. The game was first conceived as an exclusive for 3DS, the new Nintendo console at that time. Later, in the same year, the Xbox 360, or rather, Live, also ended up on the platform list. The amount of information has not changed over the years, and therefore suspicions crept up for fans. Drive-by itself was part of an advertising campaign for a sooner third part, and it was created mainly due to warming the interest of the public. It was also news that with progress in this game, some nishtyaks would be accrued in The Third. Which ones are unknown, but the Volution system has not been abandoned – we will talk about it a little later. She would work “mirror”-from Drive-by to The Third, and vice versa-from The Third to Drive-By.
According to Danny Bilson, a person from ThQ, who told all the information about the game, she would support 3D. Apparently, the events would take place in a new city, Styleport, and the main character, as in the remaining non -commercial parts, would not have performed a boss.
And in the summer of 2011, THQ announces that no one works on the project. In principle, expected. Nobody called the reasons, but if you recall the failure of a pretty good GTA: Chinatown Wars, which occurred two years earlier, the situation will be clear. However, it can be assumed that this decision was made only in order not to lose the reputation, since ThQ and Volution realized that the game was so -so and it was better to cancel it than to release a raw product to the market, since the third part had already entered the deadlines.
In general, Drive-by-by and went down without a trace in the history of Saints Row ..

Money Shot, in general, looks like a completely made and optimized game, but is still considered canceled. The essence is radically different from all other games-now you have to play for an experienced sniper-woman (and, apparently, the magician) Ultor. Gameplay: the player has to manage a bullet in order to bypass obstacles, influence some events to get additional glasses (for example: help the boy avoid death by knocking a gun from his opponent, set fire to a party, shooting a barrel) and shooting bonuses. It was planned to exit both on PS3 and Xbox360 and 3DS. The main character, according to some information, is called Cypher. Most missions are a training in the Ultor training ground, but only 3 are interesting to us:
* Anna Will Be Right Back – a mission in which you will have to kill the TV presenter Anna. She appeared in Intro Saints Row 2, if nothing was pressed on the menu for a long time, and also gave the mission of the killer, which is quite ironic. In the first case, she interviewed Dane Vogel about Stilwoter. If you go through this mission, in Saints Row: The Third, Ceifer costume (Ultor killers) should have opened. It is quite strange that it needs to be killed, since according to the next mission you can understand that the corporation is already ruled by the griffin, and Anna had no conflicts with him (perhaps the whole point is in that malicious interview).
* Dex’s New Digs is a mission, the purpose of which is none other than the Dex. He is on a corporate party, and the distance from the starting point to it is quite large. For passage in the third part, the Togo-13 sniper rifle was supposed to open.
* Biker Striker – a mission in which you need to kill a competitor – another Ultor killer on Interceptor (flying motorcycle). The aforementioned transport opens for the passage.
In general, the game represented Arkad in addition to the third part, like Drive-by. It is possible that the idea of the latter and flowed into Money Shot, given the synchronization of the three of the above things.
The game was announced by Nintendo in 2010 and promoted by announcements, synchronization and others, until in the summer it was announced. Nevertheless, her builds appeared in the public domain. You can safely play through Xbox360 on them. Later, it was announced as free for PSN. This path of Money Shot led to the fact that all things still appeared in the game, but only for a separately bought DLC.
It is interesting that the game was already calmly standing on the engine of new parts, but it narrated about the styluster. By the way, in the mission about Anna there were also female police officers, but they had a skin strip. Apparently, there was an approach from the second part, where there were gangstones. There were 8 types of bullets, each of which has pumping to the third level.
Money Shot left a mark on Saints Row, albeit inconspicuous. Fans still remember her and consider it unfairly closed.
